WildCat Trio Limited ("we", "our", or "us") operates CalSmart AI (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google.

Health and Nutrition Data

To provide calorie tracking services, we collect:

• Food logs (meals, calories, macronutrients)
• Exercise logs (activities, calories burned)
• Body metrics you provide (weight, height, goals)
• Water intake tracking

Photos

When you use our AI food recognition feature, photos you take are processed to identify food items. Photos are temporarily sent to Google's Gemini API for analysis and are not stored permanently by Google. You can optionally save meal photos to your food diary.

Usage Data

We automatically collect certain information when you use the App, including device information, app usage patterns, and crash reports through Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics.

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Provide and maintain the App's calorie tracking functionality
• Process food photos using AI to estimate nutritional information
• Sync your data across devices
• Send you reminders and notifications (if enabled)
• Improve our services and fix bugs
• Respond to your requests and support inquiries

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google) - Authentication, database, storage, analytics, and crash reporting
• Google Gemini API - AI-powered food recognition from photos
• FatSecret Platform API - Food nutrition database lookups. Powered by FatSecret
• Health Connect / Apple Health - Optional integration for steps and exercise data (only with your permission)

These services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Firebase Cloud Firestore and Firebase Storage, hosted on Google Cloud Platform. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We implement security rules to ensure you can only access your own data.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Food log images older than 28 days may be automatically deleted. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed from our systems.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access - View all data associated with your account
• Correct - Update or correct your personal information
• Delete - Delete your account and all associated data from Settings
• Export - Request a copy of your data

Children's Privacy

CalSmart AI is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
